Since I work as a Web Designer for one of the largest digital agencies in the country I have been doing a lot of research to stay on top of the industry. Here is a link to an interesting article I found that discusses how interactive agencies should start taking the leadership role in advertising.

Indian food at Cumin

So I am taking this Inter-cultural Communications class at Capella University. This is my last week and I needed to write a paper about an inter-cultural experience. I decided to do my project on Indian cuisine and went to Cumin with my girlfriend Kristin. It was very different from my past Indian experiences. It was much more upscale and much more expensive. I would recommend it for a nice night out because the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Just stay away from the Chai, it was not what I was expecting. Everything else was great.

I just finished my last assignment with this class and only have two more to go until I can get this elusive Bachelor degree in Marketing.

Blog Open for Business

So here is my new blog. Actually this is my first blog. My name is Adam Koehler and I am from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a big sports fan of everything that comes out of my hometown, Bengals, Reds, Bearcats, Musketeers & Cyclones. I work as a web designer at the largest agency in Cincinnati. I thought I would start up this blog as a journal and keep friends and anyone else interested in what's going on in Cincinnati and my career.

I am also an active real estate investor in my spare time. I currently own Koehler Homes which should finally be incorporated by May. This is an exciting time for Koehler Homes, which has been a sole proprietorship since 2002. My companies portfolio consists of eight properties with a total of eleven units. I am currently in the market for a flipper type property and another two bedroom unit.

I currently reside on the West side of Cincinnati in historic Price Hill. This is one of Cincinnati's great neighborhoods as the mayor Mark Mallory told me in brief encounter at Frisch's. Price Hill has been going through some rough times of late and is currently home to lower to middle income residents. It is a hard working community and people that are from Price Hill are very proud. With my business I hope to bring back many of the homes that have gone into disrepair and make the neighborhood a place where people of all income levels are proud to call home.
